Selection and use of miniature bearings
Micro bearings, as a compact yet powerful rolling bearing, play an indispensable role in modern industry. Its inner diameter range is usually between 0.6 millimeters and 9 millimeters, suitable for various mechanical equipment that requires high precision, high speed, and low noise.
Micro bearings, as a compact yet powerful rolling bearing, play an indispensable role in modern industry. Its inner diameter range is usually between 0.6 millimeters and 9 millimeters, suitable for various mechanical equipment that requires high precision, high speed, and low noise.
1、 Types and characteristics of miniature bearings
There are various types of miniature bearings, mainly including the metric series 68 series, 69 series, 60 series, as well as the imperial series R series. On this basis, it can also be further divided into bearing series with ZZ steel plate dust cover, micro bearing series with RS rubber seal ring, Tefulong bearing seal ring series, and flange edge series. These bearings are not only compact in size, but also have characteristics such as high precision, high speed, low friction torque, low vibration, and low noise.
The main materials of micro bearings include carbon steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, plastic, and ceramics. Among them, micro bearings made of stainless steel and ceramic materials are widely used in various precision equipment and harsh environments due to their excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. For example, ceramic micro bearings have a wide range of applications in measurement equipment, surgical equipment, and consumer electronics products.
2、 Application fields of miniature bearings
The application fields of micro bearings are extremely wide, covering almost all mechanical equipment that requires high precision, high speed, and low noise. In office equipment, micro bearings are used for components such as micro motors and computer cooling fans to ensure stable operation of the equipment. In the field of medical devices, micro bearings are used in precision equipment such as dental drills and surgical knives to provide precise support for medical operations.
In addition, micro bearings also play an important role in fields such as drones, stepper motors, video recorder drums, toy models, etc. For example, the micro bearings used in drone motors, although small in size, can withstand high speeds and heavy loads, ensuring stable flight of the drone.
3、 Selection and use of miniature bearings
When choosing micro bearings, multiple factors need to be considered, such as radial load, axial load, accuracy requirements, speed requirements, working environment, etc. Different types of miniature bearings have different characteristics and applicability, so they need to be selected according to specific needs.
When using micro bearings, it is also necessary to pay attention to maintenance and upkeep. For example, regularly filling the working surface of the bearing with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease to reduce friction and wear; Avoid bearing excessive impact loads or incorrect installation on the shaft to prevent erosion and damage; Keep the bearings clean to prevent contamination from dust, dirt, and debris, in order to extend the service life of the bearings.
4、 Failure and Prevention of Micro Bearings
There are various reasons for the failure of micro bearings, among which about 40% of failures are caused by pollution from dust, dirt, debris, and corrosion. In addition, improper use and poor usage environment may also lead to bearing failure. In order to prevent the failure of micro bearings, a series of measures need to be taken, such as strengthening the sealing and protection of bearings, regularly cleaning and maintaining bearings, and avoiding excessive impact loads on the shaft.
